“Rootlessness“

In the introduction to her book “The Origins of Totalitarianism” Hannah Arendt uses the word “rootlessness” to describe a certain quality of society.

I feel like rootlessness also applies in 2020. Maybe more with our whorl of technology. The lack of any meaning in most people’s lives and how this energy can be manipulated is truly scary.

Hmmmm.
