More gratitude

  1. Pema Chodron’s beautiful writing
  2. feelings of relief
  3. the idea of “Cape Verde”
  4. Ursula Le Guin

Reading Ursula Le Guin’s account of her writing retreat made me re-realise the value of small details. Le Guin is almost pointillist in her detail. The small details of life are important.

Despite trying to proffer more positivity towards the day I found it hard to get motivated. I didn’t shower but just shrunk back into bed.

These Coronavirus times are strange, seemingly unprecedented, like a disaster scenario in a Saramago novel.

Went to the cinema. Cooked hunters chicken. Ate 4 boxes of variety pack. Now watching MASH and trying to get a digital thermometer to work.
