Anthropology is a dead network?

I’ve long had a passion for anthropology.

Started with burning questions.

Went to university to study it.

However when I try and connect with anthropologists it fails.

I tried to make connections with the faculty at my university.

Nothing much.

Tried to broker contact with a well known anthropologist. I think he disparaged me.

I just wonder if in fact anthropology is a dead network?

Maybe it’s a wonderful thriving scene for some people.

But with all the angst about post colonialism.

And raging arguments about feminism.

It seems like scorched ground.

Ground zero.

I don’t even know if any anthropologists have read my blog.

I write sloppily but I have real ideas.

Honestly I feel like I have never been taken seriously.

It sucks quite a lot.
